Gretchen

Yoga has transformed how I relate to my body, my mind, and the world.
What began as a way to stretch after years of competitive athletics became a pathway to healing, balance, and self-awareness.

As a former figure skater, I once measured my worth by performance and appearance—living fully in the Yang: striving, perfecting, pushing. Yoga invited me into the Yin: listening, softening, and allowing. It became my antidote to perfectionism and the practice that grounds me in grace.

Now, I share yoga as a practice of wholeness and inclusion—a way for every body to feel seen, safe, and supported. The true work of yoga isn’t forcing the body to fit the pose, but allowing the practice to fit the person.

Rooted in the Hatha and Vinyasa traditions, my classes blend strength and stillness, flow and breath, in a way that nourishes both body and spirit. Yoga is the union of opposites—effort and ease, light and shadow, movement and rest.

Whether in a quiet forest retreat or a cozy studio, I invite you to reconnect with yourself, find balance, and remember:
Yoga isn’t about how it looks—it’s about how it feels.

Annie

I’m Annie—a certified health coach and retreat host devoted to personal transformation, connection, and holistic well-being.

After years in media, brand strategy, and executive relocation, I returned to my true calling: creating spaces that nurture healing and growth. My own journey through estrangement and the deep work of rebuilding with self-awareness and compassion have profoundly shaped how I approach life and wellness today.

With over 25 years of experience designing retreats, gatherings, and meaningful experiences, I’ve learned that true restoration happens when we feel safe, seen, and supported. Through Destination Yoga Retreats, I share what I’ve learned about balance, purpose, and peace—helping others reconnect with themselves and what matters most.
